MINI MASON JAR TEA LIGHT
This a tea light holder I made using a mini "faceted" mason jar, some twine and one of those battery operated tea light candles...and the round charm I made using the inserted graphic placed in a round silver bezel with a glass domed bezel on top.
GA CANDY BOWL

Hi everyone! Been a while since I've been on here I know. But I have made a couple of crafty items I would like to share with you.  This is a "bubblegum dispenser" candy bowl that I made using a 4" terre cotta pot, 2 - 4" saucers, a 1 1/2" wooden ball, a glass bowl and some acrylic paints. Cute huh? I think so...LOL :)

Cake Pops

Cake Pop Maker
So, I've recently fallen in love with this new treat I've discovered...Cake Pops. And I found a couple of places that sell them but...you know me...why buy it if I can make it! :) So my friend Brenda from work bought me an early Christmas gift, a Baby Cakes Cake Pop Maker (I imagine in the hopes that I will be making these for gifts this year, and she is absolutely right!) Yes, Ms. Brenda...you know I will be bringing these treats to the office! :) Aren't these just the cutest?

Cute Ball Keychains

Hi everyone! I had seen these somewhere and thought: "I can make those"....so I did...lol. I took a 1 1/2" wooden ball and drilled a hole and put in an eye screw with a bead cap. Then painted them with some craft paint, I used a paint pen for the polka dots, a sticker letter for the monogram and then coated them with "Triple Thick Gloss Glaze". Add a key ring and some ribbon for the finishing touch and there you go...a super cute keychain!

Harry Potter Scrabble Tile Bracelet

This is a bracelet I made out of scrabble tiles depicting all 7 of the Harry Potter book covers. I also attached a "Golden Snitch" dangle. I can't believe the last of the movies will be out this week: "Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows - Part II". It's bitter sweet, I can't wait to see it but am sad because it's the last one...:(

Crown Scrabble Tile Necklace & Ring

Hi everyone! Sorry it's been so long since my last post. These pieces were inspired by the Royal Wedding. I can be quite the girly girl & romantic. I love the fairytale where the girl meets her prince and they fall in love and live happily ever after. I found the perfert crown graphic I wanted to use; it has a vintagy look to it. I used my Diamond Glaze to adhere to my Scrabble tiles. Then I used silver daisy spacers and silver beads for the detailing around each piece and these were adhered using E6000 glue (best glue ever!). And on my ring there is a floral detail. The pendant can be worn on whatever type of chain you prefer; I thought it would be dainty on a tiny link silver chain (not too long in length, about 16" - 17").I think they're cute & romantic & girly! What about ya'll?

Beaded Scrabble Tile Rings

Hey everyone, I got another idea, this time with my rings. I added detailing all around the sides of the tile using daisy spacers and tiny silver beads. I really love how these turned out. Let me know what you think, I love hearing from you. Thanks so much! :)

Blue Birds Large Pendant

Front View

Back View
This is a pendant made using a larger wooden piece. I've tried something different and added some pearl accents around this piece. And then on the back I drew a design before glazing it. I'm pretty pleased with it if I may say so myself. I would love to hear your comments; let me know what you think. Thanks! :)

St. Patrick's Day Scrabble Tile Jewelry

St. Patrick's Day will be here next week so ya'll be sure to wear your green so you don't get pinched! Ha-ha! Here I made a couple of earrings and a pendant. The first one features a shamrock in the center and encircled with "Kiss Me I'm Irish" and the other pair features an Irish Fairy. And then on the pendant I put "Happy St. Patrick's Day" with a green glass flower dangle and a silver dangle that says "laugh". Hope everyone has the luck of the irish with them...thanks.

Valentine's Day Scrabble Tile Jewelry

Well, Valentine's Day is almost here. So of course I HAD to make a couple of pieces for the occasion. I made a matching set of earrings and a pendant of red with white polka dots (I told ya'll I like polka dots, rememeber?) LOL. The second pic is of the polka dot earrings close up & I detailed these with clear faceted glass beads. And then I made some lip print earrings and detailed those with faceted red glass beads. Whatcha think? Hope everybody has a great Valentine's Day....love to my bloggy buddies!! :)

Happy New Year!

Hey everybody! Well, this will be my last post for the year so, in honor of the new year (yep, you guessed it) I made some Scrabble Tile Earrings and a matching bracelet. I will be wearing these tonight! I used the "Edwardian Script" font and I wanted the tiles to be in black & white. After I applied the shiney gloss, I applied like four tiny crystals to give them some sparkle.

Then I wanted something for my hair, but I couldn't decide if I wanted a cute headband or a barrette clip, so I made both. The headband is gold glitter; I made the "bow" out of gold & silver tulle and tied with some gold bow wire then curled the excess. The bow barrette clip I used some white glittery ribbon and attached the bow with my hot glue gun to a tiny alligator clip. Now I just need to decide which one I want to wear! LOL....Hope everyone has a super fun, and SAFE New Year's Eve! See ya'll next year!

Candy Cane Reindeer

Say hello to my little reindeer friends...lol. I've been meaning to make these for the past couple of weeks & just now got around to it. They're super simple: just take a candy cane & wrap a brown pipe cleaner around the top & bend to shape. Glue on a tiny red pompom for the nose, wiggle eyes and a bow. I used my trusty glue gun but you can use whatever type of glue/adhesive you prefer to work with. They're so cute! Don't ya'll think? ;)

Pearl Stretch Ring

This is a really simple piece of jewelry to make plus I think it's really cute (of course)...lol...I strung 14 mini glass pearls on .7mm clear stretch cord, placed a pale pink crystal glass bead in the center with a silver daisy spacer on either side and tied a knot...and there you go! I really love pearls, by the way. ;)
